2020 The Year of Small Business!
HAPPY NEW YEAR CHAMBER FAMILY!!
THE YEAR OF SMALL BUSINESS has gotten off to
a fantastic start! We hosted our first monthly Small
Business panel discussion on Real Estate at Butler’s
Courtyard. The event was informative and the emcee,
Glenn Freedman kept the audience engaged. Next,
your chamber held a SOLD OUT “Preventative
Medicine” Luncheon at UTMB (5-Star Member). We
had two dynamic speakers, Dr. Shamburger (Memorial
Hermann) and Dr. Gregoire (Mind, Body Solutions) they discussed ways to
take control of your health in 2020. Finally, your chamber coordinated a
record-breaking attendance for the annual State of the City Luncheon! The
Mayor, Pat Hallisey and City Manager, John Baumgartner highlighted the
major wins for League City in 2019 and discussed potential challenges to
expect in the future. This is a great time to Live, Work, & Play in League City!
We encourage you to get involved with your chamber and invest in your
community. We look forward to seeing you at our February events.
Please remember to promote our Buy Local First Initiative: First Place
to Buy Local and First Week of each Month.  We want to encourage our
members to buy local, support and get to know other chamber members in
our community.
The League City Regional Chamber of Commerce goal is to advocate
on behalf of our members while offering valuable events that provides
opportunity to connect, relationship building, networking and visibility for
your company, employees and customers.
