City ramps up tourism efforts with new Convention & Visitors Bureau administrator
LEAGUE CITY , TEXAS – The City of League City recently selected Bryan Roller to serve as the city ’ s Convention and Visitors Bureau Administrator beginning Jan . 17 .
In this position , Roller will be responsible for strengthening and expanding tourism efforts through the development and implementation of programs that establish League City as a desirable destination for meetings , arts , cultural , and sporting events . He is also charged with building collaborative partnerships throughout the region to enhance the city ’ s marketing efforts and activities . .
“ I am very excited and honored to join the city ’ s Convention and Visitors Bureau ,” said Roller . “ With the existing facilities and attractions , the city has a great deal to offer meeting planners , sporting events and visitors . I ' m ready to hit the ground running .”
He served as a Client Development Executive for Exhibitor Sales for Freeman Decorating prior to be selected for this position . His responsibilities included developing , coordinating and executing the production of exhibits for customer events and tradeshows , arranging booth services , and assisting the facilitation of pre- and post-show transportation .

Roller has more than 20 years of experience in tourism , athletics , media relations , special events , event installation , and the sales and tradeshow industry . He was instrumental in establishing Pearland ’ s Convention & Visitors Bureau and organizing and managing special events such as the Pearland Texas Basketball Classic basketball tournament , the Bands of America Regional Marching Band Championships , familiarization tours , and site visits . Additionally , Roller attained a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with a focus in public relations from Stephen F . Austin State University .
