The only constant in business is change. A business must always keep their eyes and direction on the vision and the future. Steve Jobs, a visionary, was always looking to the future for his customers and anticipating their needs in advance. He revolutionized the music industry with the iPod and photos with the iPhone. Kodak, on the other hand missed an opportunity by looking back rather than forward. To maintain a competitive edge, businesses have to focus and maintain a growth mindset and continue to increase knowledge. An article in Entrepreneur says: “Your business on only as strong as the people behind it. There’s a direct correlation between individuals who strive for growth in their personal lives and those who thrive in their professional lives. This can be accomplished by committing to the concept of lifelong learning, it’s more important than ever to stay current, competitive and up to date.” Attending and participating in The Achievement Recognition Program will give you not only opportunities to learn from authorities but also networking opportunities. Five benefits of networking are: 1. Shared knowledge 2. Opportunities 3. Connection 4. Increased confidence 5.
