Since 1992, countless individuals have worked tirelessly over the years to build the steps and shape the Foundation into what it is today. CCEF takes such pride in funding and fulfilling classroom teacher’s dreams of reaching new heights in the education world and the ability to make learning come alive by providing innovative, hands-on learning materials. CCEF’s success of gifting more than $3.7 million back in student programs to CCISD since inception is due to the tremendous support received from people and businesses that share their vision to Inspire Educational Excellence. The primary purpose of CCEF is to provide innovative materials to students beyond what CCISD is already providing. The vision is truly about taking education to a higher level for our students. Teachers and students can apply for different types of grants throughout the school year such as Teacher Innovative Grants, Mini- Grants, Science Fair Innovative Grants, Student-Teacher Innovative Grants and Special Innovative Grants. From virtual reality, archery, drones, coding, STEAM (STEM with the arts added) and so much more, CCEF grants are bringing more innovation to the classroom than ever which provides kids with the ability to learn above and beyond the textbook. CCEF seeks support for programs throughout the year by promoting fundraising opportunities to the community. Coming up on Thursday, September 24th is the CCISD Alumni and Friends Topgolf Tournament. This is a fun afternoon with fellow alumni and friends with fun, fellowship, games and prizes. On Monday, October 19th is the 7th annual “Dine Out to Donate.” The process is simple – citizens enjoy a meal from a participating restaurant, and in return the restaurant will donate a portion of the proceeds to CCEF to benefit the students and teachers of the Clear Creek Independent School District. This event also brings fun competition district wide between all CCISD schools by providing cash awards to top participating schools and the ultimate “Top Dog Trophy.” CCEF’s Annual Awards Presentation and Gala is on Saturday, November 7th at Space Center Houston. CCEF will honor an exclusive group of individuals who have continually served and represented the Clear Creek Independent School District . CCEF is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors consisting of community and business leaders that have a passion for children and education. These individuals diligently work in collaboration with CCISD to identify the very best educational programs for CCISD children.
