WHICH ARE YOUR FAVORITE STYLES OR PRINTS FROM THIS SEASON ’ S SWIM COLLECTION ?
The bikini Norma is a new style which is really delicate and feminine . The new swimsuit Noelle is also really cute with the skirt and all – I could definitely see my daughter wearing that . I ’ m quite fond of the ‘ Gold Fishshell ’ print myself , but I ’ m also crazy about the placement print ‘ Pink Swimmingpool ’ on the Nika swimsuit .
For boys the ‘ Surfer Meets Whale ’ is a really great placement print on the Niko trunks , but I think my nine-year-old son is going to love the placement print ‘ Running Surfers ’.
YOU NOW HAVE YOUR PRINTS - WHAT THEN ?
When I have the prints , colours and styles in place , I present them to our CEO Mogens Jepsen , the production team and the sales team .
After the presentation I start preparing the styles for production . For new styles I ’ ll receive proto types , so I can do fittings on real life children . I then comment on the proto type in regards to threading , stitching , trims and so on .
After 4-5 months the samples arrive – this is the most exciting part as you get to see the result of what once was an idea in your head and a sketch on paper .
