The best place to start is with a plan of your house . Make sure you have a solid base to build your house on , a general mold so that you know how to shape your gingerbread and all the candy you need to decorate it . Need some inspiration ? The internet has plenty of free and easy-to-make templates !
You may also want to make your own construction icing , but storebought works just as well . Either way , have your icing ready to act as mortar for your gingerbread home !
