IT'S A VERY MERRY PARADE OF LIGHTS!! Join us for Kingman’s annual “Very Merry Parade of Lights” December 6 in downtown Kingman. Kick off the Christmas season by enjoying brilliantly lighted floats, candy for the kids and an appearance from Santa! The parade will begin at 7 p.m. and travel down Beale Street star ng at Locomo ve Park. Immediately following the Very Merry Parade of Lights will be the Youth Advisory's ANNUAL CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY at 310 North 4th Street, City Complex, also in downtown Kingman. There will be Christmas Cards for Soldiers, a Toys for Tots drop off, cookies and cocoa, live music and a visit from Santa! The ceremony will begin at approximately 8:30 p.m. 14th ANNUAL KINGMAN POLAR BEAR PLUNGE Thursday, January 1, 2015 12 p.m., Centennial Pool The Kingman Polar Bear Plunge is fourteen years and coun ng with par cipa on growing each year! What began as a fun challenge has blossomed into a full scale specialty event for the community to ring in the New Year! The plunge is open to anyone interested in star ng off their new year by braving the near freezing waters of Centennial Pool. Several unknown prizes await brave swimmers at the bo om of the pool and the Plunge is FREE for everyone. Warm showers will be available for all dippers at the conclusion of the event. The “Plunge” will take place EXACTLY at noon on New Year’s Day ‐ not a minute before or a er the hour.
