Interview By Moguls Magazine Style
correspondent, Alicia edwards
I met Tisha a few years ago and I could not help but be
impressed with her transparent personality, her business
savvy and her ability to balance everything she does.
A former college athlete, Tisha Deshields, is as striking in
her favorite sneakers as she is in 4 1/2” heels. She is the
mother of 4, but doesn’t look a day over 35. Tisha is the
founder and owner of Original Belly works (OBw). OBw
offers a belly casting kit to those mothers to be, and a
prefabricated fiberglass sculpture for those who become
mothers through non-traditional methods like surrogacy,
foster care and adoption. Original Belly works is a premier
belly casting company offering fiberglass sculptures. A
creative and business genius, Tisha currently holds 5
patents. while Tisha is certainly as beautiful, poised and
polished as you would expect from a woman with her ever
growing list of accomplishments, she remains humble,
approachable and defies any negative stereotypes that
reality TV continuously perpetrates about Black women.
