FINANCIAL OPERATIONS AND PLANS FOR 2016-2017 BUDGET YEAR
The Authority is projected to generate $1.0 million in revenue and to incur $2.6 million in operating expenses
for the financial year. The shortfall expected as stated below to be funded by advances from Central
Government. This means that advances from Central Government must finance capital expenditure.
The
plan is to take responsibility for construction and development for Ft Charlotte Market, Harbour Island, Exuma,
and West End Markets respectively.
