Organito De La Tarde Inspired by a tango song from Carlos Di Sarli Orchestra, 1951 Murat’s lectures on tango music have given rise to a new conception that he calls Music Paintings. The paintings evolve from simple illustrations and animations, presenting the viewer with the structure and essence of the music itself. His lectures provide an opportunity to deepen the understanding of these paintings, and the intricacies of the structure, harmony, orchestration, and melodies in the music. The original paintings are done in acrylics and represent a true desire to accurately and faithfully portray, visually, some of the greatest tango music ever produced. Songs such as Organito De La Tarde, Poema, S.O.S. and most recently Indio Manso. This year, Murat began a motion capture project at the Interactive Institude of Umeå University.
