THE FRONTLINES: Free the Slaves works on the ground with liberators around the world. We do what it takes to free men, women and children and help them stay free. Basic needs for food, shelter and safety from angry slave owners must be met. Then the system that allows slavery to flourish has to be dismantled and another created by former slaves learning to live in freedom.
SPREADING THE WORD: Free the Slaves has created one of the world's largest video libraries on modern-day slavery. We put out ground-breaking books on the state of slavery in the world today, and spread the word through a blog, and social media (Twitter; Facebook; YouTube; Vimeo). We also put out regular e-updates. Check out those archives here.
RESEARCH: You have to know the problem to solve it. 21-30 million slaves don't have time for us to guess about what works and what doesn't. That is why real world research is critical to creating a world without slavery. Check out what the hard core research shows us about the problem and the solutions.
TARGETED CHANGE: Ending slavery requires real change in governments and at the cash register. Free the Slaves takes what we learn in the field to demand that governments, international organizations and businesses do the right thing: Enforce existing laws and clean slavery out of product chains.
