at
the
Mid-‐Michigan
Children’s
Museum
in
Saginaw,
MI,
6-‐year-‐old
Model
K a r i n a
M a r & n e z
c a n n o t
b e
distracted
–
the
photoshoot
comes
first.
Her
mother,
Tara
Vicencio
is
close
by,
but
Kara
makes
it
clear
very
quickly
that
this
is
her
dream,
her
passion,
her
career,
her
goal
–
she
picks
the
loca&ons,
she
picks
t h e
p o s e s ,
a n d
s h e
s e t s
a
professional
pace
that
most
models
would
find
hard
to
match.
“Ever
since
she
was
a
liTle
she
has
been
into
shoes
and
clothes,”
Tara
explained.
“When
we
walked
down
the
toy
aisle,
she
was
fine,
but
when
we
walked
down
the
shoe
aisle,
she
was
always
trying
them
on,
and
trying
to
put
shoes
into
the
basked.”
Tara
said
her
days
have
been
filled
with
home
fashion
shows
with
Karina
trying
on
clothes
and
asking
them
to
take
pictures.
“Even
when
we
took
her
to
a
mall
photo
shop
for
family
photos,
she
would
pose,
then
r e v i e w
t h e
p h o t o
w i t h
t h e
photographer,
then
move
on
to
the
next
pose.”
A
trip
to
John
Casablancas
Modeling
School
confirmed
that
modeling
was
in
her
blood.
