While other models tend to wait
for opportuniBes to come calling , Shelby Pickler has learned to create modeling workshops to conBnue her modeling career goals .
“ I set up the Sand , Sun and Fun workshop in my hometown of Lake City , MI ,” she explained , inviBng photographers to join her and other models for a day of fun at the beach . “ I thought it would take a lot of work to set up an event , btut it was easy once I got all the paperwork and details planned .
Shelby , who picked models Paige Bartos and Nicole Harrington to join the event , said working with the other models was her favorite part of the event .
“ The best part of the workshop was modeling alongside two other great models ,” Pickler said . “ I have worked with Paige through group shoots and though she would be a good candidate . Nicole is a photographer as well as a model , but I never got the change to model alongside her unBl now .” The posiBve feedback received from both models and photographers has encouraged Shelby to arrange other workshops in the future .
Throughout the event , the photographers kept telling me that I was doing a great job at managing Bme and making the events run smoothly ,” she said . “ That was nice to hear since it was my first event .”
