ALWAYS A NEXT TIME …
It is easy enough to give advice about trying , and failing , and trying again . I can draw from an endless collection of sayings – when you fall off the horse , get back on ; if at first you don ’ t succeed , try again--
As a model , one thing that is certain is that , as you fight to move forward in your career , you will face rejection over and over . You will be turned away from casting calls and bookings because you are too short , too tall , too blonde . There are times when you will question your sanity in choosing to pursue such an abusive career .
You will be berated by people who are jealous of you ; and will given bad advice by people that you once trusted .
I assure you that moving forward in your modeling career will never be easy , but I also assure you that the same courage that got you started in this career will carry you through . It is up to you to hold true to your modeling goals , and stay on your own course , without letting others lead you astray .
In the end , when you have reached your goals and look back , the only real question is whether the struggle was worth it . I ’ m guessing the answer will be , YES !
