As she climbs the modeling career ladder , Shelby also counts being interviewed by newspaper reporters as a career highlight .
“ Being interviewed for the newspaper was amazing ,” she said . “ I had a lot of people approach me a \ er my interview was published in the Missaukee SenBnel and the Cadillac News . It felt great to know that .”
As she enjoys modeling , Shelby advised other models to not let other people hold you back .
“ I have been told that I ’ m too old , too heavy , not tall enough – Don ’ t let people tell you that you can ’ t do something . Hard work and determinaBon will pay off . Once you have a good start in the industry , it only goes up from there !”
