Meet Chelsea Doyle!

Although good things may come to those who wait, we decided that when it comes to Jackson, MI Model Chelsea Doyle, we did not want to take the chance. Starting in September, 2013, the strikingly beautiful 6'1" tall Chelsea, who has been selected as Modern Model Magazine's cover model for the September issue, will strike out for an afternoon of casting calls in Chicago, IL as a pioneer for Modern Model Magazine's Next Step Model Advancement Program.

The program seeks to grant aspiring models the opportunity to attend casting calls, participate in pageants adn modeling events, and seek out agency management opportunities.

Between athletics and college Chelsea, who is based in Jackson, MI, and has submitted her photos to agencies through online casting emails, will spend a day in late September speaking face-to-face with casting agents to gain a better idea and insight into the expectations and possibilities available to her through modeling.

Through the Next Step Program, Chelsea will spend the next several weeks reviewing casting call interview tips, and learning about the history and current representation roles and expectations of agencies that she plans to visit. Chelsea will also prepare a basic portfolio and composite portfolio, which can be left with the agencies for further review. As part of the training process, Chelsea will also be given advice on questions that she should ask during her interviews, including determining whether agencies she is applying to are exclusive agents, or will allow her to continue to work with other agents outside of a modeling contract if she is signed the agency.

Through the Next Step Model Advancement Program, Chelsea will be provided with travel expense and lodging for her and a family member/escort, and provided with a schedule and itenerary for casting calls that she will be expected to attend during her two-day visit in Chicago. The schedule will also allow time for Chelsea to do some sightseeing and enjoy Chicago's beauty and culture.

As a collaborative effort between Modern Model Magazine and Brian Thornton Workshops and Events, the Next Step Program will continue to progressively evaluate models, and try to create opportunities to help models advance in the modeling career field. Funds for this program are provided through direct sponsorship and donations, and proceeds from photographer registration for BTWE Workshops and Events also contribute directly to the Next Step Program.

In addition to casting calls, the Model Advancement Program is gearing up towards future sponsorships which may also include sponsorshis for modeling workshops and training events; photoshoots and workshops (including registration, travel and lodging expense); model outfit, hair and makeup sponsorship; sponsorship for pageants and contests, and payment for enrollment in exercise, health and education programs.

As part of the Model Advancement Program's model support, models are given a realistic understanding of the selection process, and are fully prepared for how to professionally respond when they are interviewed but not accepted by an agency or agant.

If Chelsea is accepted by a Chicago, she will return to a formal reception, that will include a press release to local media outlets, with an invitation to media representatives to meet with, congratulate, and interview Chelsea as she prepares to take the next step forward towards a successful modeling career.

On the off chance that Chelsea is not selected, she will return to the comfort of friends and family who continue to support her, and the Model Advancement Program staff that will help Chelsea evaluate the interviews, and prepare for her next events and interviews, with a clear understanding that certain large metropolitan agencies represent a greater chance for models to be selected and represented, which means that if Chelsea is not selected in Chicago, her next stop will likely be New York City!
