clothing and accessories to books and furniture, that is resembles a modern version of the mercantile stores in the towns of old.
Surrounded by the luxurious photo opportunities, I balanced lighting, and switched lenses, and struggled to keep up with Nikki, who practically blended seamlessly into her role as model/store hostess, providing detailed information about the history of the store.
Adding to the beauty and ease of the photography session in a small town, and the joy of working with a naturally talented model like Nikki, were the pauses that she would take to greet other store patrons, taking time to explain that these friendly faces ranged from friends and local business owners to former school teachers.
Winding down the day at the warehouse, as Nikki lounged into a comfortable pose on the couch, I finally realized who she resembled, and asked, "Do you know the singer Pink?"
Laughing, Nikki explained that as soon as she had shortened her hair, the references to her resemblance to the singer came forward, which she didn't seem to mind.
After meeting and working with Nikki, I am convinced that her drive and determination in modeling, business, and all other aspects in her life, will continue to push her to the top.
Gaylord should be proud to have such a positive and enthusiastic ambassador, who can represent the town while balancing on high heels, with a smile on her face.
As I left the warehouse, head reeling from the amount of excellent photo images I had reviewed through my camera's display, I noticed something resting against the windshield of my car. A parking ticket? No. A flyer advertising a local carnival, fundraiser, or revival? No. A container of cupcakes left by Nikki from her shop, Piece of Cake, that would put the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus to shame.
Since the photoshoot, I have continued to follow Nikki's announcements, which highlight photoshoots, positive messages of encouragement, and general friendliness that she manages to maintain even as she maintains a heightened exercise schedule, enjoying events from diving into freezing water, to skiing, to biking, to running in marathons

water, to skiing, to biking, to running in marathons marathons, all with a joyous smile.
I would advise anyone near Gaylord who is having a bad day to spend a few minutes with Nikki, and expect to be recharged by her glowing energy. As I prepared for a busy wrap-up to my summer photography sessions, I made sure to slot a return trip to Gaylord, and warn other photographers that, once you work with Nikki, you will undoubtedly want to work with her again.
I would encourage any photographer interested in working with a stunning model to produce fabulous images to book or register with Nikki as soon as possible.
I can envision the day when someone is working with Pink, and tell her that she looks like that Supermodel Nikki.
Describing Nikki in one word -- Wow.
