Modernist Fiction is a rejection of
19th-century traditions and of
their consensus between author
and reader. The period created
many new writing styles because
of the desire need to write
something new and different to
express their emotions more
clearly. Modernist Fiction was the
first and foremost a deep-root
reaction against the Victorian
culture and aesthetic. Group of
writers and thinkers known as the
Lost Generation became
synonymous with Modernism.
