Have you ever been in a situation where you hated
everything and everyone? You later on realized that
you were mad for no reason. Well in “The Parting
Genius” by Helen Coale Crew you realize that
hatred towards everything isn’t good.
In the story, the young boy hates people in
power and he plans to get rid of them all when he
is older. When he is standing on the plain above a
small town an older man comes beside the boy and
questions him about why he hates everything.
At the end of the conversation the boy
finally figured that to hate something is
pointless and a complete waste of time.
In conclusion, we may have
difficulties and hate things. One
thing we have to remember like
the boy there is no reason to
hate, but to be
understanding of
everything.
