MC Editor’s trail your bike What a ride! For the last three issues of Modern Cyclist, it has been quite a ride for all of us. From the time our first issue hit the stands and goodie bags, to now as you hold our third issue, we have had a blast. And it hasn’t been “that blast” which you get when you complete a very technical section on a mountain bike trail for the first time, but rather that “blast” you receive when people ask you when the next one is coming out “because they enjoyed the first one so much!” So, on behalf of our publisher Craig van der Westhuizen and the whole Modern Cyclist team, I give you our third issue. We managed to track down South Africa’s most famous cycling alien – which is a scoop for Modern Cyclist – and we found out that he isn’t just South Africa’s most famous alien but is probably the most famous cycling alien all over the world. But if you are reading this after the race, I really hope that you had a good one and that you met your go
