ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. Today, the Comrades Marathon Association stands in solidarity with all women and girls, and stands united in black to show support for this campaign to ensure the safety, dignity and love for all women across South Africa and the world at large. Every woman deserves to live, work, walk, run, and return home safely without fear.

FOR
TSONTSO...
FOR
ALL WOMEN.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. As South Africans, as athletes and as members of communities across our country, we are deeply affected by the violence against women that continues to take lives and leave so many living in fear.
Movement should mean freedom.
Every woman should be able to run. To walk. To train. To travel home. To exercise outdoors. To live her life.
Without fear that she may not return.
Sport should be a place where people feel strong, free and alive. No woman should have to calculate the risks to her safety simply to move through the world.
Today, the entire SA Hockey family stands with the women who have lost their lives, with their families and loved ones, and with every woman who has ever changed her route, shared her location, called someone while walking home or wondered whether it was safe to go outside alone.
Women deserve to be safe. Everywhere. We add our voices to those across South Africa saying:
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. SA HOCKEY STANDS TOGETHER.

We cycled and ran for Elizabeth this morning. We remember you our heart are heavy and with the families who have lost their loved ones in the hands of the killers.
