Newly launched, the HUAWEI WATCH FIT 4 has once again knocked our socks off. The new sleek design, along with its clear focus on fitness, especially for runners, makes this watch the full package at a very reasonable price. Marketing Director Roxanne Martin gives us her views on the latest watch to join the Huawei Family.
DESIGN AND COMFORT FOR THE RUNNER:
One of the first things you ' ll notice about the HUAWEI WATCH FIT 4 is its slimmed-down, lightweight design. Weighing approximately 27g( without the strap) and measuring just 9.5mm thick, it ' s designed for all-day comfort; you can barely feel the watch on your wrist. The display is bright and vibrant, ensuring excellent readability even under direct sunlight, a great advantage when checking your stats mid-run, especially for those of us with challenged eyesight. The new strap, while I didn’ t like it in the beginning, is great in terms of comfort and is ideal for sweaty workouts.
GPS ACCURACY AND ROUTE TRACKING:
For any serious runner, GPS accuracy is paramount. The HUAWEI WATCH FIT 4 gives you the pinpoint accuracy you are looking for, earning an " EXCELLENT " positioning performance certifi cation with the new tech that they have released with this watch. This translates to amazing tracking abilities on distance, pace, and route, whether you ' re navigating city streets or winding trails. The ability to download or import routes ahead of time is a fantastic feature for exploring new paths or ensuring you stay on course even offl ine. The colour route tracking helps you visualise where you ' ve been and where you ' re headed.
HEART RATE AND ADVANCED RUNNING METRICS:
The HUAWEI WATCH FIT 4 series utilises HUAWEI’ s multi-channel optical heart rate sensor and smart fusion algorithm for timely and accurate heart rate readings, even during intense workouts. The heart rate monitoring on the previous watches has been great, and this watch is no different.
