Late Entries Taken!
Sarens Edenvale Marathon & Half Marathon, Tiles 4 Change 10km & Kidneybeanz 5km Fun Run
Sunday 8 March
Edenvale High School, Linksfield Road, Johannesburg
G
Whether you’re aiming for a fairly flat marathon just ahead of your Two Oceans run or want to
get in a solid Comrades qualifier, this race will do the job! The half marathon is one lap of the
marathon. It’s an undulating route starting out with an easy, downhill canter. For the first 6km, you
can enjoy a stretch of downhill before you hit your first hill. After that, there are three small bumps
but just take it slow and steady. Once over the 14km marker, there is another stretch of downhill
with a flat few kays to the finish. You can push for a PB here or just take it easy. You shouldn’t have
any problems on route!
The Race That Gives Back!
The proceeds of the 10km will be donated to Tiles 4 Change, a community-based anti-drug and
abuse campaign in Edenvale, while proceeds of the 5km fun run will be donated to the KidneyBeanz
Trust, a non-profit organisation supporting children with life-threatening kidney disease. Sarens and
Rand Road Warriors will also be donating proceeds from this event to the Rare Diseases Society of
South Africa and Tannah’s Gift of Smiles.
