The Need for Speed
The sprints , hurdles and relays at Paris 2024 once again provided the fireworks , with some scintillating performances . The Americans , Dutch , Jamaicans and Brits dominated many of the events , but South African supporters were screaming with joy when our men ’ s 4x100m relay team claimed a silver medal , and when ‘ adopted son ’ Letsile Tebogo took the win for Botswana in the men ’ s 200m .
