The vibrant streets of Tshwane will once again be a sea of red on Sunday 25 August as runners and walkers gather to participate in the second edition of the fun-filled Absa RUN YOUR CITY TSHWANE 10K .
The Absa RUN YOUR CITY TSHWANE 10K marks the fourth event in the iconic Absa RUN YOUR CITY Series , which consists of five exciting races . This race offers a unique opportunity to explore the capital city on foot , taking in memorable views and passing by numerous city landmarks .

Running in Union
The race will start and finish in Stanza Bopape Street , in Arcadia , right next to the famous Union Buildings , with the statue of Nelson Mandela keeping a watchful eye over proceedings . The action kicks off at 8am , and participants can also look forward to a new medal showcasing something unique about Tshwane , adding that little something extra to the experience .
This year , the Absa RUN YOUR CITY Series has welcomed the Cancer Association of South Africa ( CANSA ) as the official charity of the entire series . A non-profit leader in the fight against cancer since 1931 , CANSA enables research , educates the public , and advocates for and supports all people affected by cancer , while leading SA towards a cancer-free society . When entering an Absa RUN YOUR CITY Series event online , runners can show their support by adding a voluntary donation to CANSA as part of their entry fee .
