BRING ON BALWIN 2025 !

After a highly successful inaugural year of the Balwin Sport Marathon Series in 2024 , we are looking forward to even more in the second year of the series !

The Balwin Sport Marathon Series has given Balwin Properties the opportunity to engage with a wider community that are conscious about getting fit and healthy , whilst supporting well run and managed local running clubs , who in turn support their athletes through their development programs . The ability for Balwin to support the development of sport and to encourage a healthy and sustainable lifestyle is paramount .

Seeing people wearing the free race shirts in the gyms and on the roads around the country encourages us to continue to help to support these clubs through the great work they have done with the Jeppe , Peninsula , Pretoria and Dolphin Coast Marathons .
The first year of the Series has been a resounding success , with around 20,000 runners and walkers of varying ages , abilities and backgrounds , from all corners of the country , participating across the various distances , in order to achieve their personal goals , beat their PB ’ s or simply qualify for Two Oceans or Comrades .
Aside from the health benefits of participating in the races , all athletes are given the unique opportunity to win a Balwin apartment by simply visiting any one of the Balwin Developments countrywide and entering their details at the show apartments to complete their entry . The more developments the participants visit , the more entries they will get in the draw . Participants have until the 31st of July to visit the developments , with the apartment draw taking place at the launch of the 2025 Balwin Sport Marathon Series , tasking place in mid-August 2024 .
We cannot wait to see the participants join us with their families , friends and colleagues for the 2025 edition of the Balwin Sport Marathon Series , which promises to even bigger and better than the inaugural year .
