The Experience : The Dis-Chem Half has long been a firm favourite on the Central Gauteng race calendar , and is used by many runners as a ‘ season-opener ’ after the Festive Season festivities . The route through Bedfordview , Morninghill and Primrose does have a few hills , but the organisers from Bedfordview Country Club Athletics go the extra mile to make the runners feel welcome , looked after and safe all on the route .
