The Experience : The UTCT has quickly developed into one of the biggest and best trail running festivals in South Africa , offering 100-mile , 100km , 55km , 35km and 23km distances , and bringing some of the world ’ s leading trail runners to race in the Mother City . The running community of Cape Town also comes out to support all the runners , with cowbells and loud cheering the order of the day as the runners tackle the many climbs . And the views … oh my , there are so many spectacular views !
