Let the Climbing Begin
Kruger to Canyon ( nothing to do with the event ) is a proclaimed Biosphere straddling the Limpopo and Mpumalanga Provinces . The Biopshere includes two of South Africa ’ s key tourism sites – the Kruger National Park and the Blyde River Canyon , as well as one of the leading international floral hotspots , the Wolkberg Region . The current boundaries of the registered Biosphere extend from the Letaba River in the North to the Sabie River in the South , and from the Blyde Escarpment in the West to the border with Mozambique in the East .
Day One takes place at the junction of three conservation areas within this Biosphere , namely the Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve , the Mariepskop Forest Reserve and Mariepskop State Forest , an area of unspoilt wilderness and scenery that is simply spectacular .
