ADVERTORIAL adidas puts Vorentoe on the Right Foot
German sport shoe giant adidas recently donated more than 50 pairs of shoes to the Murray & Roberts Vorentoe Running Academy .

The Vorentoe learners could hardly believe their eyes . They loved the fact that Miss PB , Cian Oldknow and twotime Olympian René Kalmer handed them their shoes , and it was a hive of fitting sizes in the stands overlooking the Auckland Park-based school , which has produced so many champions , including four athletes who have been offered American collegiate bursaries based on their athletic prowess .
“ For us to see the joy on the faces of these fine young athletes and to see how this will – in time – help them develop into even better , faster runners is a joy ,” said Gary Cooper , the technical representative from adidas , as he helped to make sure every runner had the right fitting .
Club Manager Dana Coetzee added , “ This is amazing to see . Those happy faces make one understand what the power of just a simple pair of shoes can be . I am utterly convinced that the shoes from adidas will contribute to even more success for the academy in 2022 .”
