Extreme adventurer Gaven Sinclair takes what many see as impossible challenges , and makes them possible . In 2017 he cycled more than 10,000km solo and unsupported from Cape Town to Cairo , then in 2018 ran more than 4000km across four African countries . His 2019 plan to swim from Mozambique to Madagascar fell through , but in 2020 he was adventuring again , running 388km along the coast of Mozambique , and this year he ran 1000km along the SA coast from Gqeberha to Cape Town . Gaven has made it his life ’ s mission to help others by embarking on these exciting challenges . – BY ROXANNE MARTIN
