What: Voet van Afrika Marathon, Half Marathon & 10km When: Saturday 12 October 2019 Where: Bredasdorp Sport Grounds, Western Cape T he unique marathon and half marathon both start with a drive to the starting points outside town. The routes then follow gravel roads and jeep tracks through farming areas and across the mountain, with stunning views of fynbos and rolling plains, and the marathon ends with a stretch of rolling hills from Napier to Bredasdorp on tar. The 10km route starts and finishes in Bredasdorp, and also features some challenging climbs in the farmlands outside the town. This is a challenging event that will appeal to those who want to test and develop their stamina – and after more than four decades, this is still the toughest race with the warmest heart.
