The Wanderers Club has been a beacon in both the
local and international sporting world for decades.
This iconic event takes place in the suburbs of
Melrose, Houghton and Birdhaven.
Race 4: Rockies Gerald Fox
Memorial Race
When: Sunday, 16 September
Where: Johannesburg Zoo, Upper Park
Drive, Forest Town
Named in memory of running stalwart
Gerald Fox, this race organised by Rocky
Road Runners has taken place at the
Johannesburg Zoo for the past nine years
and considerable money has been raised as
a donation to the Zoo from race proceeds.
EARN MEDALS AND POINTS
Runners will receive a limited edition Discovery Vitality Run Series medal at each race, and by earning all four, they can
complete the medal set. Also, Vitality members who participate will earn bonus Vitality points:
800 Vitality points for 5km | 1100 Vitality points for 10km | 2000 Vitality points for 21km.
