Wear-testing notes: The Cloudflow is a lightweight performance shoe, and is On’ s flagship performance distance racer / trainer. The 18 Clouds, Zero-Gravity EVA midsole and Speedboard ensure a fast ride, and the flashy looks of the shoe go well with its flashy performance. Overall, they are responsive and fast, and have the cushioning you would need in a good trainer. This is a comfortable marathon and ultra shoe.
The incredible upper is seamless and features a strong, breathable springy mesh that conforms to the foot snugly as you move from heel-strike to toe-off. Added comfort is supplied by the built-in sock design of the upper, meaning you can comfortably run without socks. The last of the shoe also helps with a snug fit, with a narrow heel to really lock the foot in.

Wear-testing notes: The Cloudventure Peak has attracted a large number of fans with its light weight, stylish looks, sturdy build, excellent grip and remarkable durability. The Micro-Engineered Grip Rubber on the outsole offers remarkable traction and enhanced durability, and since it is built onto the Clouds, it works handin-hand with the Speedboard to provide a fast off-road ride. The flexible outsole lets you retain your foot’ s power every step up the mountain, while CloudTec supports and cushions your descent to the finish line.
A good trail shoe must also provide a protective, comfortable upper. Here, smooth Ripstop material ensures a lightweight, breathable and very comfortable environment for the foot, with nearly weightless taped reinforcements to add structure and maintain fit, which in turn is complimented by the additional hold and protection provided by the toe cap and heel cage. The very low-cut collar around the ankle does take getting used to, but is just a minor consideration in a very good shoe.
