Quite a Good Start !
With two top 10 finishes in UTMB World Series events in Europe this year , plus a top 10 finish in the recent UTCT 100km in Cape Town , and an international sponsorship deal as well , it looks like Matt Healy made the right decision in 2021 to become a professional trail runner . It ’ s been an eventful journey to get there , including a period as a Sharks Academy rugby player , but as Matt explains , the success he is enjoying now is all about laying the groundwork for hopefully much more to come in his career .
