A not for profit store is one which profits don't go towards the business owners, but to pursuing the organised store objectives. For example, a charity shop will be ran by Volunteers and after all pay outs have been deducted from the net amount, the gross profit will then be donated to the charity.
There aren't many types of these stores due to the high rent costs often making it not financially viable.
