Renee, is a 26 year-old bi-curious woman and considers herself as plus size or BBW. She got into modeling because she did a Valentine's shoot for her man for his birthday and she really liked how they came out and never stopped! In modeling, age plays one of the factors and can prolong you or stop you. Renee believes there should not be a cut off and ALL ages are beautiful. She models for fun but hope to get her feet in the door so she can make it a business. Her hope for Model Mania Magazine is to show that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes, whether your plus size, short, tall, modified or whatever.
In many businesses especially BBW entertainment, presumptions are made about BBW women and they have to get into XXX instead of other respectable plus size modeling. There are many avenues of this profession and for the ones who want to make it a decent, respectable, business and change the stereotypes its possible. "Its sad to me that to be successful in the industry is so hard without doing xxx...but to each their own. I wont knock anyone's hustle," said Renee....Hopefully in time, the stereotypes will be forgotten.
For those young girls and women wanting to get into modeling or starting, Renee has this advice, "don't let society's perception of beautiful be your perception of beautiful." In addition, promote and get your name and face out there, don't give up!!
There is not a lot of modeling opportunities for curvy, thick woman, maybe in New York or Paris but for USA, it seems to be recognized and excepted as BBW do porn, fetishes, nude and other venues of entertainment. This is how people assume because she is fat, curvy she must do any kind of porn.
