For the past six years professional bodybuilder Tim Fryer has provided his detailed array of accumulated knowledge and workings of the bodybuilding and fitness industry to help his clientele achieve their goals . Now at the stellar age of 58 , advancing years has never been a metaphorical barrier for Tim currently studying an Advanced Diploma in Sport Nutrition who specialises in Weight Management and Body Transformations . Tim doesn ' t just help people in the bodybuilding / fitness industry , but also in another industry , working as a Prison Custody Officer and Offender Supervisor within the Offender Management Unit .
To be a successful Personal Trainer a number of techniques need to be portrayed to help beginners , immediates or seasoned professionals achieve their goals . Idealistic techniques , learnt from individuals that have made the industry what it is today or through academic studies are a few of the ways that Tim specifically concentrates on list of clients . Through his current academic studies and inspirations he has found in the bodybuilding / fitness industry has helped compile his day-to-day work as a Personal Trainer and in other areas of employment .
“ I ' ve always had an interest in bodybuilding going back to the 1990 ' s , guys like Frank Zane , Sergio Olivia , Serge Nubret and of course Arnie ( Schwarzenegger ), but the man who really inspired me to compete was the late great Bob Young ,
owner and founder of Ironworks Gym in Birmingham ( Kings Norton ). He ( Bob ) became my friend , training partner and mentor . He defined for me the true spirit of gym life , helping others , giving advice and support to help others achieve their goals .
Yes , a client has faith and trust in you as a Personal trainer and they rely on your experience . You learn from experience both good and bad . You learn what works and what doesn ' t you learn to adapt exercises for each client depending on their abilities ”.
Not only does working as personal trainer consume Tim ' s day-to-day activity , he also works in a very respected industry outside of his commitments to the bodybuilding and fitness industry . Helping others like he does in that sector . No barriers are restrained to Tim ' s limitations in life .
“ I ' m currently employed as a Prison Custody officer and Offender Supervisor within the Offender Management Unit . There ' s no such thing as a perfect client , everybody starts a program with the best intentions , however many fall by the wayside for different reasons . A few commit themselves and embrace it as a lifestyle you could say that these are the perfect client ”.
A client ' s success is paramount to Tim , entailing and incorporating a range of methods to achieving the most productive results possible in a professional and passionate bond between each of every member of his clientele .
“ My objective is to help a client reach their goals , not my goals , theirs . Not everybody wants to be a competitive bodybuilder or competitive athlete . Whatever their goals are they are important to them so they are important to me . You become a part of their life , an enjoyable part hopefully .
