Summary
Swedish Tretorn, established in Hel-
singborg in 1891, has been working
hard to implement a sustainability stra-
tegy for their rainwear and footwear for
a number of years now. Eco Essentials
Initiatives, Tretorn has named the stra-
tegy, which is already implemented in a
number of products, collections and col-
laborations.
- Eco Essentials Initiatives is our core,
which will permeate everything, we
do - also in our many new concepts and

lesskab lancerer de to virksomheder den maritime Peace

kede sweatre og accessories i et casual skandinavisk og
maritimt look. Kollektionen tager udgangspunkt i Makias
design og Tretorns innovative tilgang til bæredygtig pro-
duktion.

to come, says Fredrik Ekström, the new
Creative Director for Tretorn. He adds:
- With our Eco Sneakers we strive to
engage the modern consumer by com-
bining quality and responsible produ-
cts with timeless Scandinavian style
and function. The sneakers are made
of regenerated nylon from fishing nets,
a high amount of natural rubber in the
outsole and an insole construction
made by recycled rubber.
Tretorn has also initiated cooperation
with the Finnish fashion brand Makia.
They introduce a new collection based
on Makia's design and Tretorn's inno-
vative approach to sustainable produc-
tion.

Peace Island-kollektionen er klar i butikkerne til august
2019.
