moderne udtryk, og lancerer en let udgave af den klassiske
trench coat, siger Linda Bruun Lacin, der understreger, at bæ-
redygtighed også er et aspekt i ACLE.
- Vi producerer kun i Europa og under kontrollerede forhold.
Desuden træffer vi økologisk certificerede valg hver gang,
det er muligt. Selv om det koster mere. Også i accessories,
hvor vi i den første kollektion for eksempel bruger knapper
af kokosnød.
Under modeugen til august forventer ACLE at skabe en event
i samarbejde med influencerbureauet Social Zoo, inden bran-
det fremover etablerer sig med selvstændig stand. Besøgen-
de på CIFF i august kan også hente information om ACLE hos
NÜ på stand C1-004.

SUMMARY
The Scandinavian universe with its focus on simple, feminine,
and causal styles is the starting point for a new international
fashion brand with roots in Denmark and Dubai. Trend-wise,
ACLE is a fusion between two existing brands: Danish Luxury
and Dubai-based December Nineteen.
- ACLE is a facelift for a style which matches the growing
international interest in Scandinavian fashion, says René T.
Jensen.
He is the owner of the well-established Danish brand NÜ. Two
years ago the company launched the sub-brand Luxury as a
small, independent collection.
- We saw that casual and classic Scandinavian fashion, which
is both nice to wear and looks good, is an important trend
all over the world. So, we decided to concentrate our efforts
even more in that area, says René T. Jensen.
In Dubai, Luxury found the creative force it needed to expand
on this style: Danish Linda Bruun Lacin who ran her own
brand December Nineteen from the United Arab Emirates. To-
gether, they launched ACLE. With Linda Bruun Lacin as brand
manager, ACLE will launch its debut collection for S/S 2020.
- The style is classic Scandinavian. That is to say simple and
feminine - but also bold because we’re redefining the classic
style with new, funky details. Our goal is not to create items
that follow certain passing trends. We focus on wardrobe es-
sentials which you can use again and again, says Linda Bruun
Lacin.
ACLE is made in Europe under controlled conditions and uses
organically certified materials and processes where possible.
During the fashion week in August, ACLE aims to host an
event in collaboration with influencer bureau Social Zoo. But
in the future, the brand will establish its own stand.
In August CIFF visitors can collect information about ACLE at
the NÜ stand at C1-004.
