ULRIKE KÄHLER, MANAGING 2020/21 and what must-haves should be ordered? DIRECTOR OF IGEDO COMPANY GALLERY FASHION TRENDVIEW Trend Consultant Karolina Landowski of Fashion Trend Pool are summarising the most important ladies- and menswear looks for the next order season. Find out which key looks are defining the season Autumn/Winter SAVE THE DATE: Sunday, 26 January 2020 at 10.30 a.m. at Areal Böhler in the ›Alte Schmiedehallen‹ MEETING PEOPLE IN PERSON - In these times full of upheaval, change, de- mands for new approaches and more digi- talisation, we – as a trade fair company and established location for 70 years - are offe- ring stability with our contemporary, practi- cal and cost-efficient concepts. Düsseldorf is the mother of the international fashion business in Germany: sometimes quieter, so- metimes louder… but always here and always reliable. Meeting people in person every sea- son will remain important in the future, states Ulrike Kähler. An informative accompanying line-up with carefully curated side events rounds off Gal- lery FASHION’s offer. In addition to attenti- on-grabbing collection presentations, panel talks, presentations and a trend area that will be providing store design inspiration in the ‘Alte Schmiedehallen’, Gallery FASHION TRENDVIEW is once again being planned as a central order overview for the coming season. ROOM CONCEPT meanwhile takes up three entire halls, where business is done and or- ders are placed for a total of five to ten days. The concept is a temporary alternative to showrooms with long-term leases. In ad- dition to providing a space for arranged ap- pointments, the SHOWROOM CONCEPT also profits from the professional visitors who visit the original three-day core event, Gallery FASHION. All in all, it offers the ideal atmosphere for doing business and placing orders – in a trendy industrial-style location alongside compatible exhibitors and visitors and with a practical shuttle service. A GROWING SHOWROOM CONCEPT The show is hoping to see the biggest growth in the SHOWROOM CONCEPT. For a total of at least five days, visitors will be able to place orders in three halls against an authentic industrial backdrop. The num- ber of agencies and brands, and also the agency portfolios themselves, are continuing to grow. - Meanwhile well established, this appeal- ing concept is really making waves. For the upcoming edition we will be supporting the SHOWROOM CONCEPT with a specific panel talk in cooperation with key industry players as part of the line-up, continues Ulrike Kähler. After starting out eight seasons ago with a smaller section in one hall, Gallery has mean- while become a hotspot for top international agencies and premium brands.
