ABOUT JØRGEN SIMONSEN
Born in the Danish town Struer in 1973.
Moved to Paris at the age of 18 with the
dream of becoming a designer.
Educated at EsMOD in Paris. Head
designer at Versace in the late nineties,
followed by seasons in the same capacity
at Valentino in Rome.
Since 2008, Jørgen Simonsen has
designed in his own name and also
attends high profile collaborations with
fashion industry giants.
Jørgen Simonsen has designed dresses
for style icons as Madonna, Jennifer
Lopez, Sarah Jessica Parker and Nicole
Kidman.
ABOUT HORNVAREFABRIKKEN
Hornvarefabrikken is the only producer
in Denmark making arts and crafts made
out of horn. Hornvarefabrikken was
established in 1935 in Bøvlingbjerg.
10 years ago it was taken over by Sara
Brunn Buch and her husband Peder
Frølund Buch.
Sara Brunn Buch is a graduate from the
Arts & Craft College in Denmark.
The collection, designed in close
collaboration with designer Jørgen
Simonsen, marks the anniversary of the
company and was launched at a fashion
show in October 2018.
