DK Company
takes over two
menswear
brands
The two Danish menswear brands Solid and Tailored & Originals have
joined the DK Company portfolio, which now counts 22 brands.

In May, DK Company signed an agreement of ta-
king over the main part of the activities in CNS
Group.
Group CEO Jens Poulsen:
- Unfortunately CNS Group was in a situa-
tion where they have lost a significant German
customer with the result that the company was
declared bankrupt. We know CNS Group as
good colleagues and they are deeply respected
for the business they have built. Therefore, we
were happy to announce that we were able to
take over the activities in May 2019.
DK Company also acquired the two wo-
menswear brands Desires and Peppercorn
from CNS Group but after only one week, the
two brands were sold to another Danish fashion
company: Minus.
- DK Company already covers a wide range of
women's segments and the strategic conside-
rations in connection with the acquisition of
the CNS Group were mainly focused on the two
menswear brands, Solid and Tailored & Origi-
nals, Jens Poulsen explains.
INCREASED FOCUS ON MENSWEAR
For quite some time DK Company has been
looking for an option to increase their business
within menswear.
