SS2020 DEPECHE BRANDTEX CPH JENSEN N+ BY NÖR DENMARK ICHI N+ BY NÖR DENMARK N+ BY NÖR DENMARK ISAY classic tailored look with elements from stre- et and sportswear in oversize-silhouettes and "enlarged" details. The combination of sandals and white ten- nis socks is part of the trend in the summer of 2020. FEMININE AND BUSINESS LIKE In women's fashion, we will see more 80s in- spiration in a look that is both feminine and business-like at the same time. High-waisted trousers and suits are still in, but we can also expect to see many dresses, especially A-line dresses, skirts and shirts. Entirely white suits will play an important role as well. CULTURE Oversized business suits with wide shoul- ders and large-sized collars are a nod to men's fashion and to the power suits of the 80s and 90s. The fashion scene also moves in a sportier direction that builds on the current outdoor and expedition trend. - As with men's fashion, we will see women mix formalwear with sportswear-inspired and functional styles. Elements from the functional outerwear wardrobe is brought into the world of tailoring, says Anja Bis- gaard Gaede, who adds that the inspiration from trekking and hiking has brought the hi- king boot to the fashion game. We will also see functional coatings on the surfaces of some of the styles. The trekking suit and cargo-pants with utility elements are also a part of the trend. If Anja Bisgaard Gaede were to highlight single elements that we can expect to see a lot next summer, it is short leggings, bib overalls, logos, bucket hats, sunglasses in- spired by ski glasses, fringe effects on bags and jewelry and denim trousers in a patch- work look. - And long dresses, often with voluminous silhouettes and bell-shaped sleeves, will also play a central role next summer, says the trend expert behind SPOTT.
