At Formland in January 2019, A2 Living launched its new giant Mammut rattan baskets for the first time. The baskets can be used for trees and large green plants, both of which are important in the interior trend at the moment. A large plant bag is included. The large Mammut basket is a follow-up to the po- pular Mammut lantern launched by A2 Living a few years ago. - Among our customers for the nearly two metres tall A2 Living Mammut lantern are lifestyle and furniture stores, flower and gardening shops, and restaurants and hotels. With its large volume there are plenty of opportunities to be creative and use it for many other things than huge block candles, which we also sell. You can use the lantern as a greenhouse, a display, or something else, says owner and founder of A2 Living, Allan Riis Søndergaard. OWNER AND FOUNDER OF A2 LIVING A A2 LIVING SPECTACULAR TREND The largest Mammut rattan baskets from A2 Living measure just above 80 cm in diameter/width and are 150 cm tall. - The many sizes of baskets are available both in round and square shapes and can be used both inside and in the many inspiring outdoor spaces that we are seeing more and more, says Allan Riis Søndergaard. The Mammut edition of the A2 lantern measures 91 x 91 x 180 cm and weighs approximately 100 kg. It fits a couple of standard capillary boxes so it can also be used as mobile greenhouse. Because of its wheels it can easily be moved. - The giant lanterns suit many outdoor spaces out- side both private homes, workplaces, restaurants and hotels - and at trade shows, says Allan Riis Søndergaard. He adds that the trend right now fa- vours larger items that really can attract attention. - The trend is to create eye-catching features. The decoration isn’t toned down. It must be attention- grabbing and have a certain presence, says Allan Riis Søndergaard, who is looking forward to pre- senting his new items - including the Mammut edi- tions of the rattan baskets and lanterns - at Form- land in Herning this August and at Maison&Objet in Paris in September.
