'The Art of Living' is the
headline of the trend zone
at Formland Spring, taking
place from January 30 to
February 2, 2020 at the MCH
Messecenter Herning.
Meaningful, sustainable and
long-lasting design products
are in focus.

Designers, new talents, buyers and sup-
pliers are all present when Formland opens
its doors for the 72nd time this spring for
four days focused on the latest trends in the
interior and design industry.
Once again, visitors can look forward to ex-
periencing the trend areas at Formland.
In collaboration with Formland, STUDIE
FLYHELSTED - the design duo, Mille Fly and
Sofie Helsted are behind - is ready to pre-
sent a trend zone focused on sustainability.
- We are zooming in on sustainability. And
the ability to be present in the moment.
Consumers are demanding more and more.
The products, we invest in must have added
values. It can be in the form of sustainabi-
lity, longer durability, better quality, or the
storytelling behind the product. Design
must make sense in both our lives and our
homes, says Mille Fly and Sofie Helsted
from STUDIE FLYHELSTED. In the centre of the trend zone, Café KOLO
offers tasty dishes and homemade organic
food.
TREND SCENARIOS
In 'The Art of Living', visitors can experience
an abstraction of the home in the three sce-
narios A Sense of Your Inner Self, A Feeling
of Soft Seduction, and A Touch of Together-
ness. The common denominator is arts,
crafts and objects that make sense in eve-
ryday life.
During the fair, the design duo also focuses
on various sub-themes with selected exhibi-
tors on the trend area. This applies among
others to Vissevasse, which has designed
the unique wallpaper for 'The Art of Living'
trend zone. INSPIR ATION AND EXPERIENCE
Visitors can also look forward to a culinary
experience at Formland's trend café 'The
Villa'. It focuses on a stylish blend of mo-
dern, minimalist and cubic exteriors that
meet classic warm interiors inspired by the
70s.
The striking trend zones are just some of
the highlights on the Danish trade fair. Visi-
tors at Formland can also look forward to
meeting a number of prominent exhibitors,
to being inspired by exciting talks and to ex-
perience the very latest in interior design.
