- I also think one of Rezas’ major successes
is the whole “package” around the rugs them-
selves. Retailers are offered a B-2-B shop,
marketing materials, rug samples, and visual
merchandising, as well as a strong logistical
solution where we offer to drop-ship rugs di-
rectly to the retailers’ customers all over the
world. We’ve also kept up to date with respect
to IT, CSR, eco-friendly production, and vari-
ous certifications. As an example, Rezas has
the most modern production facilities with
in-house water purifying capabilities in Iran,
and the work related to water usage and co-
louring is done in as environmentally friendly
a manner as possible. Surplus materials from
the production are used for beautiful patch-
work pattern rugs, and they are very popular,
ends Camilla Rasmussen.
In the upcoming trade show season, Rezas
will exhibit at Domotex in Hannover, and in
September it will return to Maison & Objet in
Paris. A range of other shows and exhibits are
also being planned.

pile down to the intermediate pile where the
original patterns can still be seen. In some
cases, we’ll restore parts of the original rug,
which gives it a beautiful structure. Then the
vintage rug is dyed with plant-derived dyes.
This is a 100 percent sustainable process.
The result is a unique rug with a modern look
that combines a new design with elements of
an old culture and traditional art and craft. In
this way, our rugs gain a completely unique
look and style, says Jesper Andersen.
