REZAS S/S 2020 FUTURE COMPOSITION LIND DNA IB LAURSEN SÖDAHL KODANSKA REZAS KODANSKA LIND DNA BLOOMINGVILLE REZAS TRADEMARK LIVING HÜBSCH CHIC ANTIQUE LENE BJERRE BY HELLE MATHIESEN There are two main approaches to the interior trend for S/S 2020. One trend is inspired by the increasing concern for the environment and the position that we need to take care of our planet and our surroundings. The other trend takes elements from the life of the ar- tist and places them in the home, creating a colourful, messy, and creative environment. FUTURE COMPOSITION Our scarce natural ressources and the need for reutilization and recycling is the focal point of the Future Composition trend. De- sign-wise, these tendencies can be seen in the use of dried out, chalky, and pale sur- faces. The colours of the trend are inspired by the colours of nature found in things such as stone, clay, and plants. Sun-faded colours are used and combined with tones of chalky grey and light sand. Terracotta and rose pink bring femininity, and many of the colours are used in different gradients or tone-on- tone. The look mimics the effect of nature and time on colours and materials. Among the elements are deposits or sedimentation from long ago and things like dried fish and dried flowers. Textiles such as linen and other natural materials are given prominent places in the home, but new mixed materials such as lino leather are also in focus together with a con- tinued interest in clay, ceramics, and brick. Sand and the texture of sand are used in ar- chitecture and interior design. Plastics are rethought via reutilization and circular design.
