Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair is
celebrating its 70th anniversary with a
number of exciting features.

Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair - the world’s leading
event for Scandinavian furniture and lighting design - takes
place February 4-8, 2020 at Stockholmsmässan. Around
40,000 national and international visitors are expected to
visit the trade fair to see the installations, innovations, new
products, technical solutions and current trends, as 700
exhibitors present the latest in interior design and lighting
for the home and public environments.
LONDON DUO BEHIND SPECTACULAR
INSTALLATION
This year’s Guests of Honour - Nipa Doshi and Jonathan
Levien who are behind the London-based design duo
Doshi Levien - will be creating a spectacular installation
in the Entrance Hall.
Doshi Levien has an international reputation for combining
culture, technology, industrial design and true craftsman-
ship. What makes their work so distinctive is not just their
confident relationship with colour, material and form, but
also their ability to translate meticulous design ideas into
the context of production. This has enabled them to re-
main true to their design approach across industries and
categories – from textiles and footwear to lighting, furni-
ture and ceramics.
Doshi Levien has created works for leading manufacturers
such as B&B Italia, Moroso, Kvadrat, Kettal and Cappellini.
TIVOLI-INSPIRED DESIGN BAR
Another high point at the trade fair is the Design Bar, a
combination of innovative design and top-class food that
this year welcomes boundary-pushing designer Fredrik
Paulsen and the pop-up restaurant Garba. The Design Bar,
a cross between an exhibition and a top-class restaurant,
continues to explore contemporary aesthetics and gastro-
nomy. This year it takes on a Tivoli-inspired look, created
by Fredrik Paulsen.
