Det danske skobrand Lofina modtog i efteråret prisen
som Best International Brand of the Year i London.
Danish shoe brand Lofina received the award as Best
International Brand of the Year in London this autumn.

I oktober 2019 uddelte retail-magasinet
Boutique Star Awards priser i en række ka-
tegorier, og her blev det danske shoe brand
Lofina kåret som bedst i kategorien Best
International Brand of the Year in UK.
De øvrige nominerede i kategorien var det
schweiziske undertøjsbrand Hanro, span-
ske Carla Ruiz, kroatiske Xenia og Yac-
comaricard fra Japan.
Stiftere og ejere Morten og Lise-Lotte
Svenninggaard modtog prisen og hæderen
på National Theatre i London, og de var
selvsagt stolte over prisen. Juryen bestod
af en række profiler fra den uafhængige
retail-sektor i Storbritannien
SERVICE SOM KERNE VÆRDI
- Jeg er især glad for juryens begrundelse
for, hvorfor Lofina vandt. De fremhævede
vores evne til at supportere den enkelte
butik som helt enestående. Service og
nærhed til kunderne er en grundlæggende
værdi i vores virksomhed, og derfor en det
en helt fantastisk anerkendelse, siger Mor-
ten Svenninggaard til NU.
Shoebox, der får de dansk-designede sko
produceret i Italien, har domicil i Odder
i Danmark og har eksisteret siden 1996.
Brandet gik ind på de første eksportmarke-
der i 2014 med Tyskland, England og Fran-
krig som de største eksportmarkeder.
I dag findes Lofina på 35 markeder,
ligesom brandet har showrooms i både
London og Paris.
SUMMARY
In October 2019, retail magazine Boutique
Star Awards awarded prizes in a range of
categories, and the Danish shoe brand Lo-
fina won in the category Best International
Brand of the Year in UK.
The other nominees in the category were
Swiss underwear brand Hanro, Spanish
Carla Ruiz, Croatian Xenia, and Yaccomari-
card from Japan.
Founders and owners Morten and Lise-
Lotte Svenninggaard proudly received the
award and honour at the National Theatre
in London. The jury consisted of a range of
key figures from the independent retail in-
dustry in the United Kingdom.
- I am especially proud of the jury’s rea-
son for choosing Lofina for the award.
They emphasized our support to individual
stores, and called it “completely unique”.
Good service and being in touch with our
customers are fundamental values to us, so
this is an amazing recognition, says Morten
Svenninggaard to NU.
Shoebox designs its shoes in Denmark
and has them manufactured in Italy. The
company is headquartered in Odder in
Denmark and has been in business since
1996. The brand entered its first export
markets in 2014, with Germany, England,
and France being its largest.
Today, Lofina is present at 35 markets and
has showrooms in both London and Paris.
